ABOUT

Established in 2015, we are a owner managed home construction business focused on Quality, Community and Professional Customer Service. We work hard to create homes that will become the focal point of your families memories for years to come.

Our inspiration and passion for quality, comes from our forefathers, who designed and built the Christenot Mill in Virginia City, Montana in 1866. Hand built from stone, mortar, and heavy timbers, the Christenot Mill was created to extract gold from the rich hills south of Virginia City. Parts of the mill still stand today as a testament to the lasting quality of the construction of their time.

Design. Build. Live.

Jason Shrauger - Owner & Project Manager

Jason is a Montana native who has lived in Bozeman for more than 50 years. Jason graduated from Bozeman Senior High School and began his secondary training in the Architecture and Interior Design programs at Montana State University. During his time at MSU, he worked in the construction field as a general carpenter which allowed him to work on upper end custom homes in the Gallatin Valley. While at MSU, an opportunity to become a volunteer firefighter arose and as luck would have it, Jason ended up becoming a City of Bozeman Firefighter and his construction career was put on hold. In 2015, after 20 years with the fire department, lastly serving as Fire Chief, Jason retired from the City of Bozeman and he and his wife Pam started Old Mill Homes.

Pam Shrauger - Owner & Office Manager

Pam manages the financial and business aspects of Old Mill Homes. In her spare time, she volunteers for several Gallatin Valley organizations. Prior to opening Old Mill Homes, Pam owned an emergency management and meteorological consulting business. She has lived in Bozeman since 2002.
